The needs in Ventura County are great… and growing
With the ongoing economic crisis, the number of clients served by Catholic Charities of Ventura County (CCVC) has increased greatly while the donations and resources available to meet this demand have remained about the same. This has made the efforts of the Angels of Charity all the more important. Families are suffering from long-term job loss, food insecurity, and facing eviction or foreclosure. Increasingly, children are suffering from the poverty that tier families have fallen into. Senior citizens are living alone and in need, and individuals are suffering from homelessness and various forms of mental illness.
Every dollar raised by the Angels of Charity goes to support the many direct services to the poor in Ventura County.
