Telling Clients Stories![]() The best way to appreciate the importance of helping the Angels of Charity to support the vital work of Catholic Charities of Ventura County is to read some of the stories of actual clients and programs that are directly helping those most needy of our neighbors.
There is the story of Sam and the "police-assisted-suicide" that never happened. The story of Hal Fulkerson and the San Jose El Trajabador (St. Joseph the Worker) Food Pantry that helps the families of the farmworkers who harvest the crops of the county. The clients range from the old to the young as we see in stories from the OASIS program - At Home and Independent, with a little help - and from the heart-warming story of the Back-to-School program that provides school supplies to Catholic Charities client families. |
